Beth Lloyd's Real Estate Designations
My goal is to provide is to provide each one of my clients
with "World Class Service." To make sure I deliver on that
promise, I am continually pursuing advanced designations,
certifications and attending educational events. Below is a
list of of designations and certifications I have earned.
ABR: Accredited Buyer Representative
Designation
The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation is the
benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This
coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by
the Real Estate Buyer´s Agent Council ("REBAC") of the National
Association of REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and
practical experience criteria.
Major requirements to attain and use the ABR® designation
are:
• Meeting the REBAC® education requirement of required
and/or elective courses
• Passing a written examination on legal and practical
aspects of agency representation
• Practical experience requirement of acting as a buyer´s
representative in 5 documented and verifiable transactions
• Must, at all times, be a member in good standing with
REBAC® and the National Association of REALTORS®
CRS: Certified Residential
Specialist
The Council of Residential Specialists was founded in 1967
and has four objectives:
• To enhance members´ continuing competence through
providing superior educational opportunities in a
cost-effective manner.
• To provide and promote benefits which enhance the
economic value of membership in the Council.
• To create and maintain organizational systems and
alliances with appropriate organizations to ensure the
integrity of the Council.
• To create and maintain procedures to ensure a standard
of excellence that is required for earning the CRS
Designation.
Profile of a CRS Designee
Experience: Must have significant experience and
demonstrate volume of real estate transactions or gross sales,
as well as complete rigorous educational requirements.
Ethics: Every CRS designee is required to maintain
membership in the National Association of REALTORS® and to
abide by its strict Code of Ethics.
Technology Expertise: The training available to CRS
designees includes a strong focus on technology and its
applications in the real estate business.
The Top 4 Percent: Less than 4 percent of all
licensed REALTORS® are Certified Residential
Specialists.
e-PRO: e-PRO Certification
Real estate agents and brokers who have earned REALTOR e-PRO
Certification are Internet Professionals who have completed
extensive training using the Web. REALTOR e-PRO®
Certification means the real estate professional is prepared to
employ the latest techniques and services for your benefit,
just like you´ve grown to expect from a professional.
The Internet has added a new dimension to the real estate
world. By choosing an agent who is e-PRO Certified, you
can be assured he or she will have the knowledge and skills to
put the power of the Internet behind your real estate
transaction and maximize your ability to leverage the enormous
power of the Internet when you are buying or selling
property. Choosing an e-PRO can offer you the peace of
mind that comes from knowing you are working with a REALTOR®
committed to using the Internet with skill, integrity, and
professionalism.
GRI: Graduate REALTOR® Institute
Graduate REALTOR® Institute designees have made the
commitment to provide a high level of professional services to
their clients. The GRI curriculum incorporates a common
body of knowledge for progressive real estate
professionals.
A GRI has taken at least 90 hours of specialized real estate
related courses.They are up to date on the latest real estate
trends and issues.
PMN: Performance Management
Network
The Performance Management Network is a new REALTOR®
designation to equip the agent with the real-world skills, the
know-how and the tools that keep their business out front and
on top of a lightning fast market. It focuses on the idea
that in order to enhance one´s business, one must enhance
themselves. The curriculum includes the following topics:
negotiation, networking, organizational performance management,
personal performance management and cultural awareness
